Murder isn't Supposed to be Safe

For quite some time, the ProAbortion crowd has held up hangers and said, "Never again will we go back to when women had to use hangers!  Abortion needs to be SAFE!"  They talk about how hundreds of thousands of women died because of unsafe abortions when it wasn't allowed to kill preborn humans (Of course, they are often using numbers that were supplied by Bernard Nathanson, who later said he had fabricated the number, but let's go on).  They claim that if abortion becomes illegal again, some women will still choose to do it, and will resort to dangerous methods.  So they demand that abortion must remain legal so it can be SAFE.

The ProLife Movement has also put a lot of focus on trying to make abortion SAFE.  Some examples of legislative requirements that ProLife laws in this area include:
-Wider hallways and doorways so that in emergencies, a gurney can be rolled in to help mothers.
-Brighter lighting, cleaner instruments and operating areas, sinks in which to wash.
-Inspections of facilities to make sure they are up to medical standards.
-Admitting privileges for the abortionist at a hospital close enough to get women to quickly.

This is all, from the standpoint of the ProLife Establishment, a proper and good thing.

But there is a problem.  Both groups in this are seeking the safety of mothers in abortions.

What about the innocent child, who is UNSAFE, whether or not the procedure is done in a filthy shack or a sanitized facility?  With a hanger or a cannula?

Abortion is MURDER.  Shouldn't we be more intent on the safety and lives of the true victims?

Consider a comparison with the crime of mugging:
"Since some muggers will continue to mug people no matter what the law says, and since mugging is not always safe for the mugger, we should make it legal to mug people, to make sure that people can mug other people safely."  That is FOOLISHNESS.  It is also a failure.

It is a failure to love our preborn neighbors as ourselves - We are to follow the second greatest commandment, not violate it.

It is a failure to secure true treatment - We need to treat the preborn like who they are and abortion like what it is.

It is a failure to establish equity - All humans should be given equal protection under the law from being murdered.

Let us not be guilty of partiality:
James  2:4,8-9 "Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? ...If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors."

MURDER is not supposed to be safe.

Murder is never safe for the victim, NOR SHOULD it be safe for the perpetrator.

To fail to protect the most vulnerable and innocent who are being spoiled,
while seeking to make sure that those who are oppressing them are well taken care of,
is to do wrong, and flies in the face of Jeremiah 22:3, which says, "Thus saith the LORD;
Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place."

This is why, while so many in our society, including both ProAbort and ProLife individuals, keep talking about and making laws about safety for women, the abolitionists continue to demand that Abortion must be abolished.
