The horrific number of babies murdered in our nation is over three thousand babies EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I want to try to hit that number home by making Population Parallels using cities and towns in the "North Star" State.
Picture in your mind, if you can, the intentional slaughter of every born person in the city of Pine City (population of 3,123) happening EVERY DAY!
Or the intentional slaughter of the combined citizens of
Pillager (469),
Motley (671),
Pine River (944),
Fifty Lakes (387), and Ironton (572) EVERY DAY.
Pillager (469),
Motley (671),
Pine River (944),
Fifty Lakes (387), and Ironton (572) EVERY DAY.
Or the populations of Breezy Point (2,346) and Long Prairie (3,458) EVERY 2 DAYS!
The population of Thief River Falls (8,573) EVERY 3 DAYS!
The populations of Willmar (19,610) and Aitkin (2,165) EVERY WEEK!
The population of Stillwater (45,688) EVERY TWO WEEKS!
The population of Stillwater (45,688) EVERY TWO WEEKS!
The population of Duluth (86,265) EVERY MONTH!
Think of it—the current amount of children that are brutally sacrificed to the god of Self in our country is like having the populations of
Winona (27,592),
Mankato (39,309),
Fergus Falls (13,138),
Virginia (8,712), and
Virginia (8,712), and
Hallock (981)—all murdered in ONE MONTH.
And then the populations of
Andover (30,598),
Stillwater (18,225),
Wadena (4,088),
Owatonna (25,599),
Detroit Lakes (8,569),
Nisswa (1,971),
Walker (941), and
Pequot Lakes (2,162) the NEXT MONTH.
Followed by the murder of the populations of
Monticello (12,759),
Hibbing (16,361),
Bemidji (13,431),
International Falls (6,424),
Mountain Lake (2,107), and
Bemidji (13,431),
International Falls (6,424),
Mountain Lake (2,107), and
Moorehead (38,065) the THIRD MONTH.
And the murder of the populations of
Brainerd (13,590),
Alexandria (11,070) and
Alexandria (11,070) and
Elk River (22,974), with
Albert Lea (18,016) and Faribault (23,352) thrown in the FOURTH MONTH.
If the first of those four months was January of this year, by the year's end there would still leave enough time to kill off the populations of
Minneapolis (382,578),
St Cloud (65,842),
Buffalo (15,453),
Plymouth (70,576),
Crosslake (2,141),Fairmount (10,666),
Minnetonka (49,734),
Worthington (12,764),
Two Harbors (3,792),
and Rochester (106,769)!
And the NEXT YEAR,
St. Paul (285,068),Bloomington (82,893),
Crosby (2,836),
Brooklyn Park (75,781),
Hastings (22,172),
Eagan (64,206)
New Ulm (13,522),
Baxter (7,610),
and Maple Grove (61,567) would be totally gone BEFORE AUGUST.
If the murders of the preborn across our nation were actually murders of the born in the state of Minnesota, the ENTIRE STATE POPULATION (5,303,925 people) would be gone before 6 years had passed.
Leviticus 20:1-5
WAKE UP, MINNESOTA! WAKE UP, CHURCH!
Let us NOT hide our eyes!
I lived in Minnesota for six years in my youth. It gets mighty cold and the snow and ice makes for-
- beautiful and breathtaking landscapes.
- exciting sports: ice hockey, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and skiing.
- just plain fun: like snow forts, snow men, snowball fights, and sledding.
- a lot of work: snow shoveling, snow plowing, etc.
For three winters, I worked as a lift operator at a ski hill, and even did snowmaking. I loved laboring in the snow and the ice, serving skiers and snowboarders. The hard work, shoveling, and all, made me strong. Physical snow and ice are to be expected in Minnesota. It comes with the territory.
But it SHOULD NOT BE that the hearts of people in Minnesota are cold towards the plight of their neighbors in the womb who are being murdered! Jesus said, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold" (Matthew 24:12). When an individual or a society becomes so self absorbed and abounding in "going their own way", the care, compassion, and concern for the least of these will grow faint.
Has that become true of you?
Has your own selfishness and busyness with your own interests caused you to be absent from the engagement? Silent when you should speak? Negligent when you should obey God in loving your neighbor as yourself?
Wake up, dear reader! Thousands of our preborn neighbors are being slaughtered every day! And we are content to go about our lives and agendas for the most part as though there is nothing wrong? Are we satisfied to just vote every election for someone who says they will do "something" about abortion?
We need to wake up and bestir ourselves, and bring the heat of the word of God into conflict with the coldness of heart.
"Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD" (Jeremiah 23:29).
It puts me in mind of the zeal of William Lloyd Garrison, and the fervent Christians, who like him, rose up as abolitionists in the days of slavery and called the culture to repent.
Garrison wrote, 'I have need to be all on fire, for I have mountains of ice to melt."
Be an abolitionist today. An abolitionist of human abortion.
Minnesotan Christian, if this post agitates your conscience, and you desire to do something practical and just to oppose the evil slaughter done to your preborn neighbors who are murdered at the rate of TWO EVERY MINUTE, then you can contact me for more information, for ways you can be salt and light, and seed with truth the culture that is at peace with child sacrifice. I would love to get you connected with other abolitionists in your state as well!
You can read other posts I have written on this blogsite about abolition, and also go to Abolish Human Abortion and learn how to engage biblically for your preborn neighbors in a culture of death.
To be clear, I am not calling on you to be more ProLife. I am calling you to become an abolitionist yourself.
Abortion must be abolished in Minnesota.

The "North Star" State would be COMPLETELY empty.
And that is just the number of reported abortions.
Wake UP, citizens of MINNESOTA!!!
The Abortion Holocaust is Greater Than You Think.
If this seems horrific to you, imagine the indignation of the all knowing God of heaven,
Who is HOLY, HOLY, HOLY!
Who has made these precious babies in His image!
Who declares them to be His heritage and a blessing!
Who sees their slaughter in the secret places!
Who hears the cry of their innocent blood!
Who commands US to open OUR mouths for those who have no voice, for those who are being slaughtered!
Who commands US to warn the wicked and rescue the weak!
Who will bring judgment to a people that allows the shedding of innocent blood to happen in their communities without seeking justice!
Leviticus 20:1-5
:1 "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,"
:2 "Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones."
:3 "And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name."
:4 "And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:"
:5 "Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people."
WAKE UP, MINNESOTA! WAKE UP, CHURCH!
Let us NOT hide our eyes!
Let us NOT be silent NOR absent when they are being slain!
Let us plead for justice and call for truth!
May our communities awaken and repent of our apathy toward our culture of child sacrifice which is murdering our neighbors!

The church needs to rise and bring the Gospel into the engagement for lives and souls.
