There are a number of strong reasons why making laws to incrementally regulate abortion are NOT right and do NOT work to abolish abortion. Many of these have been addressed by myself and others.
But what if regulating abortion did eventually stop the killing of preborn babies?
What if all the incremental regulations actually worked to the point of making abortion unattainable and too inconvenient to seek and carry out! Isn't that working to the same desired end?
The short answer is, no!
Here are 4 principal problems with the idea of regulating abortion until it is unattainable, and thus nonexistent:
1) It would NOT be agreeing with God concerning the evil done to our neighbors.
2) It would still be treating abortion like unsavory healthcare, rather than the homicide that it is.
3) It would fail to bring true repentance, that is, the acknowledging the wickedness of the holocaust of millions of imagebearers of the Most High, and therefore a turning from that evil.
4) It would not be just, nor would it establish equity, for it would not be securing the equal protection for the preborn as the born who may be targeted for murder.
Inequity is iniquity.
Therefore it would be sin before the LORD in Whose righteous judgment we are in danger.
Let's agree with God and turn from opposing evil unjustly! Obey Him instead, by bringing the truth to bear against the holocaust in which which we find ourselves.
Abortion must be abolished.
Abortion must be abolished.
