There has been much made of the recent news that the last freestanding abortion mill in Missouri is not performing abortions at this time. This is heralded as a victory of Missouri's regulatory laws. Many ProLife editorials and leaders are now calling Missouri "the first Abortion Free State" and this news is being shared throughout social media!
But is it true?
As one born in Missouri, who loves Missouri, and who has preached in the Capitol building in Jefferson City, the Capitol of Missouri, year after year--calling for residents and the legislature to repent for allowing this great evil to be allowed under "color or law"--I feel pressed to speak.
First, I am glad to hear that children are not being murdered in the St. Louis Planned Parenthood at this time.
But in reading this article, we must understand that it does not mean that any of those children are being spared--in fact, any mother who would contact that specific Planned Parenthood, will simply and easily be referred just over the border to Granite City, Illinois. Or, depending on where the mother lives, just over the state line on the western side into Kansas, to Overland Park.
It should also be stated that while abortion may not presently be happening at freestanding abortion mills in the Show Me state, this could change as soon as they want to follow the specific ProLife regulations put forth in the bills that have passed.
Moreover, untold numbers of babies are being murdered by abortions bought at Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens--"on the corner of Happy and Homicide" through Plan B and other abortifacients. Freestanding abortion mills (or doctor offices for that matter) are not needed when mothers chose to kill their babies earlier--another fruit of ProLife regulatory legislation.
Online. Did you know that mothers can simply order the kill pills online and have them delivered straight to their front door!
And at hospitals. Barnes Jewish Hospital, for instance, will still murder babies for a fee--the only requirement for "pregnancy termination" is a preborn child must present abnormalities or the mother must present pregnancy complications.
So what if regulations grew so high in number that abortion decreased in number because there were to many hoops to hop through, too much red tape? Here is my detailed answer to that question.
So, to put it plainly: No! Missouri is not abortion free.
But it can be!
A bill of abolition is set again to be put forward again this year!
LET'S NOT GET DISTRACTED BY FAKE VICTORIES.
Missourians need to support the bill of total and complete abolition put forward by Mike Moon, and demand that the legislature in the state of Missouri establish equal protection under the law for preborn humans.
#SHOWMEABOLITION
Abortion must be abolished in Missouri.
