The Reality about Roe and Dobbs

Fifty years ago today, the Supreme Court handed down Roe v. Wade.  For nearly 5 decades, it was treated by both proaborts and prolifers as the law of the land. In actuality is was the lie of the land.

The murder of our preborn neighbors was never in the Constitution.  The 1973 decision was an iniquitous decree, violating the US Constitution and the Higher Law of God.  No court has the authority to say that murder of a people group is okay.  The Triune God of the Bible is the Author of life, and the Judge over all, and thus He alone has the jurisdiction to say when life is to be taken away.  And He says in Jeremiah 22:3 to “Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.”  Jesus reiterated while He walked among us, “Thou shalt do no murder.”

The Roe v. Wade decision violated the Constitution also.  The US Supreme Court took a supposed "right to privacy" to mean that murder of your own children can happen in the privacy of the womb.  It was not a law, for courts do not make laws.  They render opinions, and when an opinion violates the Constitution and the Higher Law of the Creator, it is without constitutional authority and ought to be ignored.  For the last 50 years, babies didn’t die because of Roe v. Wade.  Many tens of millions of babies were murdered because states bowed to Roe v. Wade.

On Friday, June 24th of 2023, the Supreme Court itself officially recognized the egregious error that it made.  They admitted the ruling almost 50 years ago was unconstitutional, and have returned the question to the states.  Here in Dobbs we find another error in judgment, a half correction:

The US Supreme Court was right to say that abortion is not a right in the Constitution.  BUT…

The US Supreme Court was wrong to then allow the states to deprive humans of the right to life if they so choose.  Just as the federal courts did not have a right to say abortion is a “right”, the states do not have a right to do so either—they have the duty to criminalize homicide.

With that in mind, consider that in 2019, the Kansas Supreme Court took the right to the "pursuit of happiness" in the state Constitution and said it included the pursuit of homicide.  This violates both the right “to life” and “equal justice” recognized in general to humans in the Kansas Constitution.  Thus, Bleeding Kansas, with its iniquitous court opinion, has fabricated its own state “Roe”, called “Hodes and Nauser v. Schmidt”.  Both courts, the US Supreme Court in 1973 and the Kansas Supreme Court in 2019, were dead wrong—both fallacious, both vain and iniquitous.

The Hodes case is unconstitutional and as Kansans we ought to ignore it, as we should have ignored Roe. What was national should now strike closer to home for the God-fearing people of the Sunflower State. We must defy Hodes and follow the Constitution and the Higher Law of God, even if the courts will not. As Elders our prayer since Friday has been, “Lord, may Your people, who refused to ignore Roe, do justly now that they can no longer use it as an excuse.” Our God commands that, “That which is altogether just shalt thou follow”. We must call for justice and plead for truth.

We must reject compromise, and demand of our legislators that,

“Abortion must be abolished.”

Whose Side Are You On?

"The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things" (Proverbs 15:28).

This tweet is just a single example of the kind of evil that gushes from the heart of the soul in rebellion against the God Who made him.  We live in a society filled to the brim with not only hearts full of wickedness, but a people who celebrate, laugh at, or shrug off such trash being spewed out on the internet instead of seeking to curb it.  We live in a generation that hates God and loves death.

I recognize and mourn over the reprobate nature of this tweet and pray that the Lord would give the author repentance to the acknowledgement of the truth.  I pray that she will be brought from death unto life everlasting through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

But there something else that grieves me.  And that's what my post is about.

Here is the awful truth: If this woman would actually do such a thing she is proposing, she would face no prosecution!  That pierces my heart and should yours as well.  Every single state in our Union, including every acclaimed ProLife state, proports that woman who kill their preborn children are victims.  Every single Prolife legislation that has ever been put forth or passed has secured language to this end. And every ProLife leader and organization has done their due diligence to educate the church and inform elected officials that mothers who kill their babies at home (through mail order abortionswhich is very mush on the rise) or hire an assassin to do the job at an abortion mill, should be immune to prosecution!

Even in cases of partial birth abortion, in which there may be some penalty for the abortionist, the mother who hired the abortionist faces no penalties.

This is the fruit of being ProLife but not Biblical.  The ProLife doctrine, that mothers should never be prosecuted, is how we ended up with Roe v. Wade in the first place. The Texas statute that was the reason for the Roe v Wade court case claimed that children in the womb were protected by the 14th amendment, and yet the same statute did not give them equal protection by treating abortion like murder.  Mothers who hired doctors to kill their children were completely free from any charges.  Due to that partiality in judgment, the Supreme Court cited their inconsistency and stated that the preborn were not persons under the law with the same protections and far more than 60 million children have been murdered under color of law because of it.  Abominable.

Looking at Isaiah chapter 59, we see the evil of bloodshed and injustice in a society.  Scriptures states that truth is fallen in the street (v.14), and people make haste to shed innocent blood (v.7), and people are found crying out to God to deliver and to save in such an evil day.

God responds, saying that He is able to hear and save (v.1)but that He will not hear, nor bless and deliver (v.2), because those coming to Him are lifting hands defiled with blood themselves (v.3).

He points out that they gone their own way (iniquity), and have been using falsehood, trusting vain measures, to deal with the problem.  What they haven't done is call for justice and plead for truth (v.3-4).

How can we expect God to bless our own Nation when even those who are against the bloodshed refuse to treat it like murder? How can we expect God to deliver such a culture of death when the "champions of the innocent" hatch iniquitous decrees, compromising (and thus collaborating) with homicidetreating abortion like healthcare.  Is the ProLife movement raising bloody hands to ask God to bless their efforts?

As intensely grieved as I am over this tweet the Scripture states plainly that, "wickedness proceedeth from the wicked" (I Samuel 24:13).

I am more horrified at the way that we as the Christian community have been taught to permit this atrocity under color of law.  This is one of the reasons why I will not be a part of the ProLife establishment and call myself an abolitionist instead.

Let it not be said of Christians in this generation, "None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth" (Isaiah 59:4).

Christian, whose side are you on?  I implore you to leave the ProLife ideology and practice.  Stop giving money to ProLife organizations who refuse to be Biblical and instead openly promote falsehood and partiality in giving justice to the preborn.

Answers to the 2022 Kansans For Life Survey

I was sent a link to a survey from KFL (Kansans For Life), the largest Pro-Life organization in my state, last week.  As a way to both exhort anyone who is reading this blog post to follow a biblical approach to ridding our nation of child sacrifice and to equip my brothers and sisters with solid and truthful answers I have copied their questions and my answers.

Q— Do you believe pro-life advocates have the power to change our culture into one that values life?

A I believe what the scriptures teach. It is the living and true God that has the power to change hearts.  He tells us that His church is to be the salt and light in the world, bringing His truth into conflict with darkness and decay.  When the Christians of our state/nation rise in obedience to the Bible in regards to the murder of the preborn, it will massively impact the culture that is at peace with child sacrifice.

However, I do not believe that pro-life advocates are changing our culture into one that values life. On the whole, Pro-Life leaders and organizations (in their perspective, policies, and practice) are inconsistent with the Gospel and Scriptural precept.

For instance, pro-life bills do not treat abortion like the homicide it is, but rather regulate it like healthcare. In doing so they treat abortion no different than the proaborts.  This teaches the culture to not value life equally. Psalm 119:128 "...I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Q— Do you believe most Kansans understand the reality of what happens in an abortion?

A Yes, abortion is murder, and everybody knows it.  Everyone is without excuse. https://freethestates.org/2021/02/everybody-knows-it/

Q— Do you believe minor girls should, at minimum, have the protection of required parental consent before an abortion is performed on them?

A This question seems to ignore the children being slain. To require such a thing is to treat the murder of the babies these minors carry as a viable medical practice—no different than any other medical procedure for a minor. Abortion is homicide, and to treat it other than what it is would be to promote a falsehood and establish partiality in law.  Would it be righteous to put into law that high school-age shooters are allowed to gun down preschool students if they have permission from the children's parents?  If this is absurd, then so is the other. Exodus 23:1-7; Deut. 16:19-20; James 2:8-9

Q— Add your thoughts about the greatest challenges ahead for the pro-life movement.

A The greatest challenge to equal justice for the preborn presently is the ProLife Movement itself.  In all prolife states where abolition bills have been put forward since 2016, it has been the ProLife leadership and organizations who have worked mightily to kill those bills.  They have done all that can to keep these bills from even getting out of committees.  This past year, when Louisiana had an abolition bill get through the committee and enough legislative support to pass it, the ProLife organizations surged and gutted the bill.

At that time over 70 major ProLife organizations signed onto a letter to all legislators in the Union, saying that they will NEVER support giving children equal justice from murder in the womb.  Kansans For Life signed that ungodly letter.  Christians are rising up to expose the iniquitous compromise, the partiality, and the error of the ProLife Movement.  We are calling our prolife neighbors to repent, come to Christ, and follow HIS word in engaging for the lives of the preborn.  We are calling for abortion to be abolished to the glory of God.  Duty is ours. Results are God's.

Q— Now that we're in a post-Roe America, where do you think KFL should focus most of its energy?"

A Repenting of iniquitous measures and establishing equal justice for all by backing a bill of immediate and total abolition of abortion as murder.  It is also vital that KFL and all Christians in our state ignore the iniquitous and unconstitutional Hodes opinion as we should have ignored the iniquitous and unconstitutional Roe.

Q— As a pro-life advocate, if you haven't made a gift to Kansans for Life yet this year, will you tell us what is holding you back from financially supporting our lifesaving mission?

A I was prolife for 30+ years, believing that it was Biblical, but now am an abolitionist of abortion.   Exodus 23:2 "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:"  I cannot in good conscience support an organization that refuses to seek justice for the innocent, refuses to establish equal rights for the preborn, all the while purporting itself to be the champion for the preborn in my state.  So many Christians and churches support KFL, thinking that they do well, not realizing the partiality they are joining in.   I am now committed to call for justice and plead for truth, and exhort my fellow Christians to do the same.

Q—If you would like to enter a drawing for a 2023 KFL T-shirt, please provide your name and two ways to contact you should your name be drawn (phone number, etc.)

A I will not be entering into the drawing for the shirt, since what is printed on the shirt is not truthful.  KFL does not show that it believes that "every life is precious" and purposed enough to be protected equally.  KFL has repeatedly opposed legislation that would protect children from murder, and signed that letter this years that refuses ever to support just treatment of this form of homicide.  This coming year, you will have again an opportunity to show a change, to actually allow for and support the passage of a just bill of abolition of abortion.  Because I care for you, I call you consider your ways, search the Scriptures, and to repent.  "And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.  Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:15-18).  If you are interested in talking about the Biblical response to child sacrifice being perpetuated under color of law, feel free to call me at (and I gave them my number).

The Born Alive Act was Dead Wrong

Read it and think.

This is a tweet by Greg Abbott about the Born Alive Act, which was put forward by Representative Jeff Leach, and passed by Texas.  Much was made of this ProLife victory that happened years ago.

Governor Abbott said, "In Texas we support the lives of innocent children.  The Texas House voted 93-1 for the Born Alive Act."

Jeff Leach is quoted here also, saying "A baby who survives an abortion deserves the full protection of the law and the highest standards of medical care."

Both Abbott and Leach have been praised by the prolifers and Christians for this and other deeds, being lauded as champions of the preborn.  But these men are two of the chief leaders who are responsible for murder by abortion remaining "legal" in Texas:

Greg Abbott personally gave a promise to a dying teenager, abolitionist Jeremiah Thomas (who earnestly called on him to do justice for the children being slain) that he and the Texas Republican Legislature were determined and would abolish abortion in Texas.  Then, Abbott completely broke his word, and never has sought to do what what he promised.

Jeff Leach heard the testimony of hours upon hours from abolitionists in favor of HB896, a bill of complete and immediate abolition of abortion, lasting into the early morning hours of the next day, and singe handedly killed that bill that would have provided equal protection for all preborn children under the law.

These men have perpetuated the homicide of many thousands of children by their compromise and regulatory bills.

Take this bill mentioned in Abbott's tweet for example:

If a baby survives an attempted abortion and is born alive, then the state says that they have protection.

This is basically the same as saying that you can hire someone to shoot, or strangle, or poison your neighbor in an alley, and the law WILL NOT prosecute you or the hitman.

However, if your neighbor survives that attack, and gets out of the alley alive, then it is illegal to kill them after that.  Furthermore, there still will be no prosecution for the violent crime that you attempted in the alley to commit against your neighbor.

And the government will depend on the people present (that's you and the assassin) to have enough integrity to follow the decree and not kill the neighbor, but instead report their survival and give them medical assistance.

Absurd and Evil.  They "lie and do not the truth!"  They care about what pleases man and not God.  Their inconsistency and iniquity is showing.  Political officials need to cease to do evil, and learn to do well.

Consider the Born Alive Act in the light of God's command to rulers in Jeremiah 22:3 "Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place."

The true and living Triune God of the Bible declares,

"Execute ye judgment and righteousness,"  Did this bill establish equal justice?

"deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor:"  Unless they are still in the alley (womb)?

"do no wrong,"  So allowing the murder to happen under color of law at first is right?

"do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow,"  This still permits violence to the vulnerable.

"neither shed innocent blood"  The blood of the innocent is freely shed as long as the victim is in the "UNSAFE Place".

So what is the verdict? "Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord," this legislation was iniquitous, promoting partiality and falsehood, which God hates.

The Born Alive Act was and is Dead Wrong. It is compromise and collaboration with, and thus complicity in, child sacrifice.  Do not support ProLife organizations, legislators, or laws, which leech away justice from the innocent by denying justice and delaying abolition through delivering bills of regulation and partiality as victories.  Be not deceived.  Be not distracted.

Repent with us.  Abortion must be abolished, not regulated.

It Adds Up When You Do The Math

I don't know how often I have heard it said in various ways by fellow believers:

"Unfortunately, at this time the church does not have the people, the power, nor the funds, to make an impact on the evil of abortion in this country."

"We cannot really do anything but vote, give to pro-life groups and crisis pregnancy centers, pray, and hope for the best. There is nothing else we can do that will make a difference."

I for one, want to counter this sentiment with truth.  And I will take only one aspect of action in which the church needs to participate.

Let's take into consideration a very practical use of numbers.  Let’s say that 15,000 Christians within an hour of an abortion mill in any given city decided to love their preborn neighbors in word, deed, and truth.  I hasten to say that this would be but a fraction of the believers who attend Bible preaching congregations.  But these 15,000 individuals set aside time in their very busy lives to be present at the death camp.  What would that accomplish?

If just 59 of the 15,000 went to that abortuary on one day,

and then a different 59 went the next day,

and then another 59 went the day after, and on, and on...

you would have 59 Christians at the mill EVERY SINGLE DAY of the YEAR without ANY ONE INDIVIDUAL having been there twice.

Imagine, 59 Christians, exercising various roles at the Gates of Death—Preaching the Gospel. Pleading for the lives of little image-bearers. Praying fervently on site for God to work in hearts. Providing help, information, and resources at the entry. Provoking with signs, etc.

What if they chose to take on a little more?  If each person in the multitude of 15,000 committed to stand just one day a month, that would mean that the mill would have 483 Christians outside it EVERY DAY with each person only giving one day a month to plead for the lives of the innocent and provide truth to all who enter (and that is if every month had 31 days; 5 months have fewer).

This by itself would have a HUGE impact on the business that sheds innocent blood.  This would clearly showcase the Gospel to the lost, deliver numerous babies from slaughter, and shut down the mills!  When 1% of the church will show up regularly to stand at the abortion mill, abortion business places will shut down. Darkness cannot stand the presence of Light.

I well remember the morning in Pensacola in 2006, out in front of a baby butcher shop, when a police officer looked at me and my friend, and said "This must not be a real issue for the church, since you two are the only ones here."  In the middle of a conservative Christian "stronghold", surrounded by hundreds of churches, and only two Christians were standing as emissaries for Christ at the Gates of Death.  What message is the church sending the world by our silence and absence from the field?
God has commanded us to "love our neighbour as ourselves", "visit the fatherless in their affliction", to "open [our] mouth" and "plead the cause of the poor and needy", to do "justice and equity".

Prayer is never meant to be a substitute for obedience.  Imagine if Isaiah had said in prayer, "Here am I; send someone else!" (Isaiah 6).  I would that the thousands upon thousands of believers in every city would learn about, get involved, and then engage for their pre-born neighbors being slaughtered!  I would that they would take God's command to "Open thy mouth for the dumb in the case of all such are as appointed to destruction" (Proverbs 31:8) at His word.  Truly God has made Himself clear, and has given us all we need to make a huge impact simply by assembling as His ambassadors at the Gates of Death (not to mention all the other ways to effect abolition of this evil). It is not enough, nor honest, neither is it consistently "Christian" for us to say, "We cannot make a difference right now."

Let us stop being silent, absent, and negligent.

Let us be OBEDIENT, and watch what our God will do.

"Some want to live within sound of church and chapel bell.                                                                             I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of Hell."  C.T. Studd

Just Follow What is Altogether Just

Thus saith the LORD: “Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.  Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.  That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee” (Deuteronomy 16:18-20).

This passage of Scripture in which God lays out how leaders in Israel were to rule justly, and what the people were to follow is instructive.  Let the leaders and people of today pay heed.  As Jehoshaphat later warned leaders in Judah, “…Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.”  Ye will answer to God, who is the Ruler of all.  It is recorded in Scripture, "Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people."  God has granted in these united States, that the people of the states choose our leaders and are to keep them accountable. What are we to follow? That which is altogether just.  For God is Just, and we answer to Him.  Micah 6:8 "He hath shewed thee, O man, what i good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

Consider the three fold instruction in Deuteronomy 16:19.

1. "Thou shalt not wrest judgment."

What does "wrest" mean? That is wrestle away justice, depriving the innocent of protection of the law. DO NOT compromise justice.  Today, the preborn are the ONLY people group who are denied equal protection from murder in our society. ProLife legislation regulating how, when, where, why and in what circumstances abortion can be done are allowing murder as long as one hops through their hoops.  This violates God's statute here.

2. "Thou shalt not respect persons."

DO NOT be partial in judgment.  Punish the evildoer.  Protect the innocent. Making bills that protect those whose heartbeat can be protected or who are known to feel pain, is showing them partiality over those younger and more vulnerable.  Making bills that do not establish equal justice for born and preborn shows respect to persons, and transgresses God's precepts.

3. "Neither take a gift."

Thou shalt not receive bribes. DO NOT compromise for money's sake.  As the verse warns, "for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous."  Taking a gift can cause one to to act not for the sake of precept and principle, but for a price.  There are multitudes of ProLife politicians who shrink back from putting forth, coauthoring, or promoting bills of abolition, that  establish equal protection for all from murder, because they are afraid that groups that donate to campaigns may not applaud that action.  Do what is JUST because God's word commands it and you answer to Him.

Abortion is the murder of innocent image bearers of the living God.

It is unjust to murder them.  And it is unjust to allow them to be murdered under color of law.  And yet, in every state, regulating homicide is what the ProLife leadership does.  Making rules about when, where, how, and in what circumstances you can murder your child is NOT treating abortion like murder.  It is treating abortion like what the proaborts say it is- "healthcare".  Abortion is NOT healthcare.  it is the homicide of the most innocent and vulnerable of humans.  If you treat murder as if it is a medical treatment, and allow it as long as they follow rules you set, and then ask God to bless your efforts, you are raising bloody hand to pray.

"Surely those who shed the blood of the preborn - Will be judged by God, Whom they do scorn        And those who allow it do share in the stain - Are found to be taking God's name - in vain."

I have been told, "You are just against bills of regulation because they're just not ENOUGH for you."

NO. I am against regulating abortion because it is not JUST.

We live in a culture that is at peace with child sacrifice, and perverts justice.

-The government sworn to protect the innocent from murder protects the murder of the innocent.

-The society that purports to be against bullies promotes the bullying of babies to death.

-The medical community that is sworn to "do no harm" are the ones who practice the murder.

-And the ProLife community seeks to regulate the murder, and end up permitting the murder they oppose, up ending justice.

In such a day, Christians must follow what God says, forsake partiality and consistently call on their leaders to do justice! Jesus is King! Demand what He commands:

"That which is altogether just shalt thou follow."  Just follow what is "altogether just".

"Saviour, let me not make man's wisdom my trust - But rather to heed Thy way which is just.  From paths of compromise make me depart - Search me, O God, and lead my heart."

God is Just, So Abortion must - be ABOLISHED.

ProLife Pragmatism or Preaching?

I am a Christian.  I want to be grounded upon the word of God, and be a faithful ambassador of Christ.  This is why I am an abolitionist.

"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God" (I Corinthians 5:20)

Our King, the King of kings, has commissioned us to declare His message.  Carrying His Gospel into this world, we are heralds, not negotiators.

"For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ" (Galatians 1:10).

We call abortion murder because it is murder, and we know the God Who can save and forgive repentant murderers.  Abortion is sin and the only answer for sin is repentance and a saving faith in the finished work of Christ (Mark 1:15).  The Gospel brings redemption from destruction; it is the wellspring of love, hope, and joy, and is the real answer to abortion.  We are to use the word of God, His declaration of Creation, the Law, and the Gospel.  It is all “according to the Scriptures”

As abolitionists, we are committed to the unwavering truth of the good news that God the Son, Jesus Christ, entered the womb to redeem the world.  The Eternal Word became flesh in the form of a zygote (John 1:14) and went through all the stages of development in the womb, was then born as a baby and grew to manhood.  Fully God and fully Man, Jesus lived a sinless life, testified of the truth, and laid down His life in the place of sinners, the Just for the unjust (II Corinthians 5:21; John 18:37; I Peter 3:18).  His precious blood was shed to atone for sin, for "without shedding of blood is no remission" (Hebrews 9:22).  He died for our sins, and rose again the third day (I Corinthians 15:3-4).  His payment upon the cross purchased redemption for a lost, wandering, and wicked people from the punishment of their sin (Romans 6:23; I Timothy 2:5-6).

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world" (I John 4:14).

All Christians are commissioned as ambassadors of Christ (I Corinthians 5:20), and are to proclaim the good news to every creature, bringing the Gospel of the kingdom into conflict with the culture of death.  So we go into the fray, engaging the culture, unashamed of the Gospel of Christ, knowing it is the POWER of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).  This we seek to do, not only at the mills, but elsewhere too, in conversations, in the open air, on campuses, and at statehouses, speaking the truth about life and life everlasting.  We plead in the name of Jesus Christ, in the cause of little babies made in His image, and for the good of all who will turn!

For instance, at the abortion mills, the gates of death, we speak the truth…"Your baby is not your problem, your baby is your blessing.  Sin is your problem—the selfishness in your heart.  The only remedy for your sin is turning and trusting in Jesus Christ alone, Who died and rose again to pay the price for sin!”

However, it is the accepted "wisdom" among a large portion of the ProLife community to NOT do this:

To NOT call abortion “sin” or "murder",

To NOT warn their hearers about God's judgment for abortion as murder, or openly share the Gospel as the only remedy for sin,

when conversing with a student on a campus, with a congressman in his office, or counseling a woman who plans to abort her baby.

I have been told that preaching outside the abortion mill has never made a difference.  I know better.  We have had prolife people, even Christians, reprimanding us, yelling at us to stop proclaiming the way of salvation.  One abolitionist sister I know was standing beside a car, sharing the Gospel with a mom, and was suddenly shoved out of the way by a prolife woman, who said, "This is not the place for that!"

So why would the ProLife Movement lean this way?

A large percentage of people in the ProLife Movement are not Christians and cannot be expected to promote the one true way of salvation that they do not possess themselves.  In fact, it has been the Roman Catholic Church, for over 40 years, that has been the main mover and shaker within the Prolife Movement.

Sadly, even numerous evangelical ProLife leaders and organizations have been influenced by Catholic leaders that it is better to keep the Gospel out of any initial dialogue with mothers who are looking for an abortion, and they do not always contain a clear Gospel message when it is discussed due to ecumenical involvement.

There are numerous Christians who rally for the ProLife position, take time and opportunity to boldly engage others in dialogue regarding abortion, and even go to abortion mills to pray or protest are often carefully trained to NOT use the Gospel with people unless the other person brings up spiritual matters. There are two reasons for this (and perhaps more):

1. In their objective to save a baby they use pragmatic (not providential) reasoning—they are taught that moral, emotional, logical, and scientific arguments are what works and that sticking to those facts foremost are necessary to persuade a woman to not go through with her abortion.  Abolitionists use logic, science, etc. as well, but we will not shun to share the Gospel openly.

2. They are afraid of offending the hearer and therefore losing a conversation. Although they do not deny the true Gospel or the need for sinners to come to Christ, they instruct ProLife Christians to "keep the Gospel in your back pocket"—having it readily accessible if the other person brings it up!  I have heard this in training sessions and lectures, and have been told personally by ProLife leaders that the abortion mill is not the place to preach the Gospel.  It could offend them and turn them away from listening to you.

ProLife Pragmatism wants to pursue what the professionals propose will produce.  The multitudes want to do what works, and follow the experts their leaders.

However, abolitionists first of all seek to follow Jesus Christ.  "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).  All the world includes the streets, sacrifice centers, statehouses, and all of society.  And there happens to be "creatures" there in those places.  We speak the truth in love, for our Lord has instructed:

"And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious" (Ezekiel 2:7).  We trust God to use His word.

And we believe that God's work done God's way will work for God's glory.

Abortion must be abolished.

[I do not want to leave out the fact that there are within the Prolife Movement, Christians that are truly saved and hold to the Gospel with unwavering allegiance.  They unashamedly preach the Gospel and call their hearers to repent from any murderous intent toward their children and turn to the Savior.  I greatly appreciate the testimony of these saints—our family has ministered with them at the very gates of death—our family was one of them for many years!

But it is all too easy as a Bible believing Christian to assume that everyone else who is part of the ProLife Movement is believing about the subject the same as you.  It is the ideology and practice of the ProLife establishment that I are contrasting.]
